Work is priced as a fixed sum before it starts, with 50% payable as a deposit and 50% on completion by bank transfer. There are no day rates and no prices published online, because no two damp problems are the same, the survey establishes exactly what is needed and the quotation reflects that property alone.

Damp proofing in London and Middlesex
Damp is the one defect you cannot decorate your way out of. Fresh plaster over an untreated wall blisters again within months, and a surveyor's report during a sale will find it regardless. Work that lasts starts with a correct diagnosis: rising damp treatment where the damp proof course has failed, penetrating damp treatment where water enters through defective pointing, render, gutters or roof details, or condensation driven by ventilation and heating. Each has a different remedy.
Our free damp survey covers diagnosis and a written fixed-price quotation. We inspect the affected walls, look for the source rather than the symptom, and explain what we have found in plain language. Nothing is charged for that visit, and there is no obligation to proceed.
How damp is treated
Where a damp proof course has failed, treatment uses accredited Sovereign and Wykamol systems followed by salt-retardant replastering, so the wall can be decorated without the problem reappearing. Where water is coming in from outside, the defect itself is corrected: brickwork and repointing, brick stitching to cracked masonry or external rendering that sheds water properly, before the internal repair is made good. Cellars and basements holding back ground water are treated with structural waterproofing and tanking systems specified to suit the structure.
One contractor, start to finish
Because the business also carries out general building and remedial works and plastering, the job does not stop at the technical treatment. Rooms are put back into usable condition by the same contractor, which removes the gap where homeowners are usually left finding a second trade.
Guarantees and insurance
For anyone selling, buying or remortgaging, the guarantee documentation matters as much as the work. Damp treatment carries a 10-year company workmanship guarantee and a separate 10-year insurance-backed guarantee underwritten by QANW, so cover remains in place independently. Building works carry a 6-month workmanship guarantee. Public liability insurance is held to £2,000,000.
